How about a post with more info like summarizing all the best points and easiest way to utilize Googel+, rather than links to other posts. I am trying to keep it a pure, true network for me. I don't add people that I don't know. As far as I know, there is no prize for the most connections on LinkedIn so what's the point?

Recommendations are especially important because they are a reflection of you and if you write one for someone you don't know it could turn out badly.

Re: Make a Better Connection on LinkedIn #FabFive

Well, I know many have their own etiquette about who to connect with on LinkedIn. Some are LIONs and openly network with most everyone but to me, this is not much different than searching a phonebook.

Social networks are about trust for me and I only care to connect with those that I know, trust, and can possibly recommend or refer for business.

Re: Pondering: A Cup Full of Inspiration

You rock Peg - that Gift from the Sea sits on my coffee table to remind me of how lucky I am to live near the Gulf, which inspires me daily. If you behave in online communities similarly to how you behave in offline communities, you will probably work out just fine.

I think I would place more emphasis on Don't Get Discouraged. Even though we don't get the chance to speak as often as I'd like, I know he's making an effort to promote my content regardless. I usually get an opportunity to ply my craft for people like AR when they need it, so luckily it usually levels out in the end. They don't even realize the influence they have, and if the other people on the list are anything like AR and Tony, they probably have the same kind of dynamic going on. I'm counting on AR to make sure that I get to hear his call to arms if he ever starts a new project or website that he could use my help launching.

Re: The Golden Rule: Tweet Others The Way You Want To Be Tweeted.

Hi Peg

I sometimes feel that if only happy messages were going to and fro on twitter how peaceful, happy and positive the twitter world would have been :)

The points you mentioned are very imp and everyone should consider them. It needs to be the same on all platforms.
